iPhone plays different roles in people’s life: to some people, it is just a tool for phone calls while to others it is an important part of their daily life. In this article, we will introduce a list a common iPhone problems and methods to fix them.
1. Water damaged iPhone
Have you ever dropped your iPhone into water? I believe most of the users have come across this problem. But do you know that it is very dangerous to press the “Power” button and “Home” button at the same time when you iPhone is water damaged?
When you drop your iPhone into water while it is power on, there will be two possible results. The luck one is that the device cannot be turn on but it still can be fixed very easily. The tragic one is that your device will become very hot to touch until it automatically power off. When this happens, you have to turn off your iPhone immediately. Because the longer you keep it on, the worse it would become.
So when your iPhone is water damaged, you should first press “Home” button to see if the screen is lighting up. If the screen is not lighting up, you do have to do anything on your iPhone because it is power off. But if the screen is lighting up, you sent it to be repaired as soon as possible in order to increase the possibility to fix the water damaged iPhone.
2. Drop iPhone with serious damage
If you frequently drop your iPhone on floor, it will cause damages on your iPhone. You can use a protective case to prevent your iPhone from getting broken.
3. No service on iPhone
If your iPhone has suddenly received no signal, and this problem remain the same even after restarting the device. You might want to follow the steps your searched online to restore iPhone, but you cannot enter the main interface if you have done it wrong.
Some parts of your iPhone fail to run properly which leads to the failure of restoring the device. Once you restored it, it will be much difficult to fix your iPhone. Because the baseband on your iPhone fails to works once you restored your device in the wrong way. So it won’t be able to detect the voltage. It will take much longer to test the voltage and restore the iPhone at the same time.
To avoid this issue, you can check on “Settings”>”General”>”About”, to see if there is version number on it modem hardware when your iPhone has no service. If it has nothing on it, then you must sent to the support service and let them fix it for you.
4. Black screen
If your iPhone suddenly becomes black and unresponsive, you can hold the “Power” button and “Home” button for 10 seconds. If it is still not working, connect it to your computer, and then launch iTunes. If nothing shows up, you need to put it in DFU mode.
If your iPhone is power off, the “Time” setting will be back to 1970. You need to recharge you iPhone and connect to Wi-Fi so as to set up the current time on your region. Otherwise your iPhone will receive no service, and you cannot use flash light on your “Camera”.
